Great beat!
I really enjoy Lady Gaga's beats. I think it is very mainstream but she is just a breath of fresh air. I feel like dancing everytime this song comes on. She reminds me of Kylie Minogue. Very chic, very hip, very europop.

Feeling Flushed
When it comes down to new artists, they either have it, or they just don't. For newcomer Lady Gaga, who made a breakthrough with Just Dance, she doesn't seem to hit that nail on the head with her latest effort. Poker Face, the second single from her debut record, feels like it has a mismatch within the beats. It really isn't a song that doesn't feel as catchy, or something that just drives like it did before. I just wasn't impressed with the song at all. It didn't feel like you could easily get up and dance to it, and just makes your mind think like it should've dealt out a royal flush, than a pair of deuces. I hope for Lady Gaga, she can deliver better the next time around.

She keeps getting better!
This song is so different, especially from her recent hit "Just Dance," but I really enjoy it for some reason. I love the beat of the song, but also the very unique language like, "glue gunning," "chicken in the casino," etc. I think it's an awesome dance track, and will be her next big hit!

The track is censored
I feel like amazon ripped me off because it doesn't say anywhere that the song is censored yet the one they sold me was. It's a very catchy pop song and I like it, but this is not a good version if you want to hear all the words.

Not bad
The song is ok but in my opion, just another good looking woman with a musical career but lacks the voice

Best song Yet
I love this song, the music video was really neat as well. Stop picking on rihanna! Her album good girl/bad girl wasn't named that for nothing.

Unsexy sex
"Addicted" is quasi-punk rock from the quasi-punk rockers Saving Abel. At best,they can hope to be one-hit wonders with this song. The front man sings about sex with his girlfriend,about the noises she makes "between the sheets." Surprisingly,this song speaks of "making love"--quite unexpected in an otherwise vulgar song. It's a song about sex that's quite unsexy. If you want to promote abstinence-only education,this song would work wonders.

This is not the version you've heard on the radio
These words are very explicit. In fact, the exact words are "when you're going down on me in between the sheets." These are NOT words that I want to hear coming out of my teenagers' mouths.

Yes, I realize the tag says "explicit," but it was the only version available on Amazon, and because I've heard the song on the radio so many times, I thought maybe it referred to something else in the song. I was wrong. This version has been deleted from my household music library and we have purchased an edited version.

Saving Abel churns out a paint-by-numbers tune (2.5 *'s/5)
I'll give the band credit for writing a catchy, hooky song, but that's about as far as it goes. After hearing this song on near-endless repeat since Summer '08 (When I resumed listening to the radio) I can't say that this song will stand the test of time.

Some, or even a lot, of people go for disposable pop/rock songs, but anyone looking for a little more depth or originality should steer clear of this one. The song is a paint-by-numbers affair written specifically with the radio in mind, and in that aspect it hits it's mark. Otherwise, it's just another catchy, forgettable rock song.

Me + "Love Story" = Love Story
Taylor Swift has a universal quality that transcends even country music to make a large dent in the top 40/pop market. Don't believe me, check out this song. Building on a good concept with some excellent song-writing, the song tells a story in its verses, like most country music, but the song delivers a powerhouse chorus that leaves most singing or stunned, because it's so good. Also adding to the song is it's catchiness, which is perfect for radio, and its simple likability only draws you more into the song. I think it also sets itself up perfectly for some awesome covers, which is yet another plus for the song.

So overall, if you're a fan of Taylor, country, pop, or good songs, then you might find yourself a love story with this song. And amazingly, even after all these months out on radio, I'm still not tired of it yet.

Mediocrity at its best.
I like a wide range of music, but the music must meet certain criteria to be considered good. 1) Meaningful 2) Excellent vocals, instrumentation, or composure. 3) Failing to meet the other two, it must at least be tolerable.

Unfortunately this song, no matter how often played fails to meet any criteria, a poorly written song with no real meaning other than the ramblings of a pretty girl (ever wonder if a girl with more talent and less on looks would make it this far?), dubbed over a 5 second loop of country-pop teeny bob instrumentation.

This song will no doubt inspire many youth to believe in the overwelming power of infatuation (not love) and propogate the lower middle class forward into a new era of fast food jobs.

Like Story
Taylor Swift's "Love Story" is a bland,pseudo-country song with a Romeo&Juliet theme. The music video has an odd blend of "Pride and Prejudice" with "Romeo and Juliet",sort of like Chris Dane Owens,without the psychedelic coolness. "Love Story" sounds quasi-folksy,as if all Taylor needs is a hurdy-gurdy. Having twanging and fiddling does not a country song make. "Love Song" is incredibly cheesy--love at first sight,paternal disapproval,a sudden blessing at the end,and a happy ending. It's sappy enough to give cavities. "Love Song" has the depth of a Harlequin romance novel,without the guilty pleasure.
